Toberona youth clubs were established in 2005, we are based in the Respond building in An Cearn Og. The youth clubs have active members from age 10-18. Approx 30 young people avail of the youth clubs weekly.
The clubs are run 4 nights a week, Monday to Thursday.
The young people engage in many programmes including, positive well being, sexual health, exploring diversity etc.
Young people have taken part in Art projects with creative spark, and have represented their area in chomhairle na Nog.
The Toberona Youth Clubs are part of Youth Work Ireland’s UBU Project for Northwest Dundalk. Also, part of this is the peer support programme run through Cox’s Demesne Youth & Community Project. The UBU Project is funded by the Department of Children & Youth Affairs through LMETB & Youth Work Ireland Louth.
